“A book is a man’s close friend”
I only read/listened carefully chosen six books this year. I wanted to read more in 2018 but I did not because I spent more time experimenting and applying what I learned from the books and I enjoyed the process.
So here is the list –
The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America’s Wealthy
by Thomas J. Stanley, William D. Danko
~The book reminded me of the advantages of being frugal.
Things a Little Bird Told Me: Confessions of the Creative Mind
by Biz Stone
~I enjoyed the journey of an entrepreneur. This is a very nice book, I liked a lot.
Elon Musk: How the Billionaire CEO of SpaceX and Tesla is Shaping our Future
by Ashlee Vance
~A roller-coaster ride of innovation and life.
Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World
by Cal Newport
~A reminder on the importance of distraction-free living.
Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy
By Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev
~ Spiritual hacks! You can get a deeper understanding of life.
Think Straight: Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life
By Darius Foroux
~ 99% of our thoughts are useless.
I would recommend these books for anyone! Hope to read more and experiment more in 2019!!
Have a great year ahead!
